Getting Verdigris electrical data into your building management system should be standards-based and dependable. A rebuilt integration agent makes BACnet and Modbus delivery more conformant and easier to configure.
Standards conformance
BACnet: the agent was brought into line with ASHRAE 135-2020 and the Verdigris BACnet mapping, exposing measurements as the correct object types with the required object and device properties (status flags, event state, out-of-service, priority array, and the device's supported-object-types and database revision) and the Verdigris vendor identity. It passes the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) conformance suite with a perfect score, matching our reference agent, and adds BACnet event logging.
Modbus: conformance improvements cover device uptime, reset behavior, and reactive power. A uptime register that previously returned garbage now reports correctly, and a write to the reset register reliably zeroes the energy registers. The agent passes the full Modbus conformance test.
Simpler to configure
Enable BMS data transmission directly from the setup tools.
Bind the integration to a specific network interface (for example
eth0) rather than whichever route happens to be default, so it fits your network layout predictably.Toggle event logging with a single checkbox.
The new agent replaces the prior integration service and is delivered through standard gateway firmware updates.
