Differences between AA and ADR.

Updated over 3 years ago

Traditional Automated Demand Response (ADR) products use hard curtailing and do not have the ability to forecast future events and adjust before the event. These curtailment programs typically go for a longer time period during the day and are less responsive to fluctuations in energy usage. ADR is not practical for all industries, and in most cases has substantial tenant comfort implications.

Traditional automated demand response products only respond to certain demand response events from a specific Public Utility signal and would not be suitable for 24-7 control and day to day peak demand reduction.
